Later on, he performed at Chicago’s Improv Olympic Theatre. In the late 1980s, he went at Chicago’s Second City Theatre to refine his act. With his outrageous character, he made his way to New York City and landed in the office of Lorne Micheals, creator-producer of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Along with Chris Rock, who became one of his best buddies in the industry, Farley became one of the two new casts of SNL during the 1990-1991season and lasted for five years in the show.
