Bob Odenkirk started his career when he landed a spot as a radio DJ for WIDB in Carbondale, Illinois. He did improv while in Chicago, and with his witty skills in comedic writing, he was hired by Saturday Night Live in 1987.

While working with SNL, Odenkirk worked alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Chris Farley.  He decided to leave the show to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.
