Brandon Boyd is an American musician, artist and author who has an estimated net worth of $15 million. He has earned his net worth as a lead singer for the multi-platinum rock music band Incubus, as an author of two famous books, and through his works of painting, among many other visual artworks. Brandon Charles Boyd was born in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California in February 15, 1976. He graduated from Calabasas High School in 1994 before attending Moorpark College for two years after which he committed to Incubus. He was inspired by Ricky Taylor to write music and sing. His parents also nurtured his artistic side with their experience in entertainment since his childhood. Other musical family members, including his younger brother Jason Boyd, a former lead singer of Audiovent, and his cousins, Sam Boyd a touring musician and songwriter, and Robert Boyd, all played an integral roles in his career.

Boyd's voice was part of the reason why Sony Epic Immortal Records signed the band in 1996. The band’s first release went largely unnoticed but their subsequent ones were commercially successful. Brandon and his colleagues were nominated for the Grammy’s Best Hard Rock Performance category in 2005. They released their greatest hits album Monuments and Melodies in 2009.
