B.B. King's net worth is $30 million. This is true, and no surprise here, as the more than accomplished 88 years old Blues legend has dedicated his entire adult life to music. A flawless guitarist and a one-of-a-kind singer and songwriter, B. B. King was one of the most influential musicians alive today.
In 1949, King signed his first recording contract with RPM Records in Los Angeles and by the end of 1950 he was already the main name in R&B music. Going on hundreds of music tours, gaining Grammy Awards and with his hit songs all over, from radio stations to Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, in 1956 King created his own record label in Memphis - Blues Boys Kingdom.
Born on September 16, 1925 near Berclair, Mississippi, King was married only twice, but he is the presumed father of 15 children. An experienced private pilot, King was diagnosed over 20 years ago with type II diabetes. Regardless of his diabetes, he never laid low. With a well-deserved place on the Blues Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with his own record label and blues club chain, the king of blues still gives live shows on stage, constantly increasing his astonishingly high number of music performances.
