Born as Patricia Mallette, Pattie Mallette is a  Canadian film producer and author with an estimated net worth of $20 million. She is best known as the mother of a world-renowned singing sensation, Justin Bieber.

A week after her autobiography titled Nowhere But Up, it instantly became a New York Times bestseller. In fact, it landed on the 17th spot of New York Times list of bestsellers. On her autobiography, she revealed that she was born to parents of Canadian and French ancestry. She discusses her memory of her father whom she knew as an abusive and alcoholic who left them when she was just two years old. Seven years later, he came back and even before they could even spend more time with him, he died of a heart attack.

She even revealed that she has been molested starting at the age of 3. Her alleged offenders include her friend's grandfather, neighborhood children and a male babysitter. The molestation continued until she was 14 years old and at the age of 15, she hinted that she has been involved in a date rape.

Despite her violent childhood, Pattie Mallette tried to live a normal life. Her acting and singing talent developed until she made a career on TV. In 2012, she began working on Crescendo as the executive producer.
