Best-selling English author and former politician, Jeffrey Howard Archer, Baron Archer of Weston-super-Mare, has an estimated net worth of$195 million. The author's books have sold 330 million copies, netting £54 million. He owns an apartment overlooking the Thames and art pieces which are valued at £100 million. The son of a printer, at the age of 29 he became Conservative MP for Louth but the prospect of financial ruin in his thirties spurred him on to write the 1976 bestseller Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less.
