British literary agent, Christopher Little has a net worth of $86 million. Little is the owner of The Christopher Little Literary Agency firm of literary agents and the man behind the Harry Potter phenomenon. Little has made a fortune from the J.K Rowling book series and its associated film and merchandising rights. He became a literary agent in 1979 after returning from a stint working in the Far East and at first the business was no runaway success. Everything changed in 1995, however, when the then 32-year-old single mother walked into a public library in Edinburgh and looked up a list of literary agents. She alighted on the name Christopher Little and, deciding he sounded like a character from a children's book, sent him her first Potter manuscript. The rest is history and Little is now among the top and most influential people in his profession. But recently Rowling severed her connection with Little. The pair reached what was called an amicable agreement and Little was paid an undisclosed sum. His fortune is estimated to be around 10% of Rowling's current wealth according to the magazine.
