Anna Olson has an estimated net worth of $8 million. She was born in Atlanta Georgie and moved to Ontario during her childhood. Olson is an American professional pastry chef that went to school and earned her political and sociology degree from Queens University. It wasn't until Olson Olson was searching for new creative ingredients for a dinner party that she had a revelation that she wanted to become a pastry chef.  Olson then enrolled in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado. Upon her graduation from the university, Olson traveled across the United States. She would eventually find her way back to Canada, residing in  Niagara Falls, Ontario.

During her career as a pastry chef, Olson wrote a book which was co-authored by her husband, Michael Olson, the book was published in 2000.

Olson and her husband also published the book Sugar in 2004. Following the publishing of their book she opened her own Food court in Port Dalhousie of which she sold in 2009. Olson has also been featured in several promotions for the Starbucks Coffee. She hosted the Food Network Canada's Kitchen Equipped and Fresh with Anna.

She has also been featured in some television ads for Splenda, Starbucks Coffee's, KitchenAid appliances among others. Other commercial advertisements included the Pillsbury Christmas cookies and Home Hardware where she advertised appliances and kitchen products.
