Andy Richter is an actor and comedian based in America. He is also a very good writer. His net worth is estimated at $15 million.

Born Paul Andrew Richter on October 28, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was raised in Yorkville, Illinois and graduated from Yorkville High School. He attended Chicago's Collumbia College and there he used to take part in various Chicago comedy groups like Annoyance Theatre. After he left Columbia, he worked in many commercial shoots as a production assistant. Richter was also the writer of the TV show Jonathan Brandmeier.

Richter became popular for his role in Late Night with Conan O' Brien.  After seven years with the show, he stopped working with Late Night in the year 2000 to pursue his acting career in film and television. His first important work was Andy Richter Controls the Universe with Fox but it was cancelled after two mid-season runs. Next, he took part in the Fox sitcom, Quintuplets, which only lasted for one season.

Andy Richter later worked with O'Brien who co-wrote and executive produced his 2007 television series, Andy Barker P.I. It was played on NBC, with all six first season episodes shown on NBC.com. However, it was cancelled because of very poor ratings despite being named by Entertainment Weekly as one of the Top Ten Shows of 2007.

Some of the movies where Richter appeared were Cabin Boy, Madagascar, Olsen Twins' New York Minute and Seeing Other People.
