Amy Davis Irving is an American born actress who has appeared in various films, Broadway productions and television shows. She has a net worth of $120 million.

Most of Amy's fame and wealth was acquired from her movie career. She is the former wife of the famous director and producer Steven Spielberg. She received $100 million after the end of her four-year marriage with him.

Irving was nominated for an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, but she won the Obie Award. Amy was born on 10th September 1953 in Palo Alto, California. Her father was Jules Irving, a stage and film director and mother was Priscilla Pointer an actress. She has a brother David Irving who is a writer and director, and a sister, Katie Irving, who is a singer and teacher of deaf children.

Irving attended the American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Irving made her debut in an Off-Broadway production, “And Chocolate on Her Chin” at the age of 17. In the mid 1970’s, she was noticed in small roles in Police Woman, Happy Days and soon, she was offered a lead in an epic mini-series, Once and Eagle.

She has appeared in movies such as Carrie (1976), I’m a fool (1976), The Furry (1978), Voices (1979), Honeysuckle Rose (1980), The Competition (1980), Yentl (1983), The Far Pavilions (1984), Micki and Maude (1984), Terror in the Aisle (1984), Rumplestillskin (1985), Crossing Delancey (1988), A show of Force (1990), Kleptomania (1995), Carried Away (1996), I’m not Rappaport (1996), Deconstructing Harry (1997), The Confession (1999), and The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999). She was nominated for the Best Actress award for her performance in Yentl (1993).
