Adam Clayton is a well-known rock star who has an estimated net worth of $300 million. He was born on March 13, 1960, in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England as Adam Charles Clayton. His parents are Jo Clayton and Brian Clayton. In 1965, he, along with his family, moved to Malahide, Country Dublin from Oxfordshire.

He is famous for being a part of the well-known rock band U2. The band was originally named Feedback but was switched later on after a band member chose to leave the group. Clayton was the original manager for U2, however, he gave up his managing position to Paul McGuinness who had more experience.

The band has received many awards that include numerous Grammy Awards, Album of the Year awards, Song of the Year awards, Best Rock Duo or Group awards, Best Rock Album awards and Record of the Year award.
