Brazilian television actress, singer and children's television show host, Maria da Graça "Xuxa" Meneghe Xuxa is one of the richest women in Brazil with an estimated net worth of $160 million. Her acting debut was in Amor Estranho Amor (English title: Love Strange Love), 1982 Brazilian film. At 17, she began to date the Brazilian football legend Pelé, who was seen as being influential in launching her career. They had a personal relationship from 1981 to 1986. She dated Formula One icon Ayrton Senna from 1988 until 1990. She can still be seen on TV, even though she continues to struggle to find viewers for her show, which is broadcast at the forgotten time slot of Saturday afternoons by Globo. The poor ratings don’t seem to be a problem for the network, as Meneghel’s salary is in the neighborhood of $10 million per year and her contract is extended automatically at every four years. Meneghel lived in a world apart, surrounded by assistants and bodyguards. Maria da Graça Meneghel was born in Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul State, on March 27 1963.
