Indian film actress Twinkle Khanna was born Tina Jatin Khanna on December 29, 1974 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She is one of the daughters of actors Dimple Kapadia and the late Rajesh Khanna. They all share the same date of birth.

Twinkle made her screen debut in Barsaat with Bobby Deol and she earned the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance in the box office hit. Since then, she had acted in various movies along with several actors including Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn and Govinda. Among her notable films are Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Baadshah and Mela.

Twinkle married popular Bollywood actor Kumar, also known as Rajib Bhatia, and they have two children. After their marriage, she quit acting in 2001. She then opened an interior design store called White Window, which she now co-owns. The store is located in Bombay’s Crawford Market and has received the El Decor Award. She also plans to open another store in the area.
