Canadian actress, voice actress and singer Tara Strong was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario as Tara Lyn Charendoff on February 12, 1973. She is the daughter of Lucy and Syd Charendoff who ran a convenience/toy/candy store called The Wiz. She has a strong acting interest and her career started when she volunteered

Tara Strong is best known for providing the voices of Dil Pickles in Rugrats and All Grown Up, Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls, Timmy Turner in The Fairly Odd Parents (upon the death of Mary Kay Bergman) and Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She usually provides the voice for the young male characters in cartoons. Strong has also lent her voice to English-language localizations of Japanese anime such as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. She also voices some characters in several video games such as Elisa and Ursula in Metal Gear. She has loved working on Drawn Together (2004) and considered it a fun part as to her departure from the family-friendly productions that she used to work on. Among the roles that she portrayed, her all-time favorites are Melody in the video The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea (2004) and Toot Braunstein in Drawn Together. She would love to do more live action movies that she mentioned in one of her interviews. However, she is constantly preoccupied with voiceover work that she can’t find enough time.

Prior to her marriage, Tara Strong was credited as Tara Charendoff. She later changed her professional name upon the request of her husband, Craig Strong. They got married in 2000 and now have two children.
