Born on February 1, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, she attended Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts for high school. She then studied dance at Simba Studios and the West Las Vegas Arts Center.

Wesley was accepted by the University of Evansville, where she earned her BFA in Theater Performance in 2001.
