Pavlína Pořízková was born on April 9, 1965 in Prostějov, Czechoslovakia, which is now known as Czech Republic. Currently, she is married to Ric Ocasek, the lead singer of The Cars, a rock band. The couple has two sons named Oliver and Jonathan.

In August 1987, she appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine which sold hundreds of thousands of copies later. In 1992 and 1990, Paulina was selected as one of the world's  Fifty Most Beautiful People.
