Megan Mullally is an American born actress, who performs both on the stage and the screen. Megan has a net worth of $15 million. She appeared on the Chicago theatre productions in 1985, and then moved to Los Angeles to try her luck on screen.
Mullally is famous for her performance in her Broadway debut in Grease in 1994 and the 1998 sitcom “Will and Grace”. Mullally has also hosted a talk show called “The Megan Mullally Show” from 2006 to 2007. This gave her a lot of fame, and contributed to the wealth.
Mullally was born on 12th November 1958 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Martha and Carter Mullally, Jr. Her father was an actor too. He was a contract actor with the Paramount Pictures in the 1950. At the age of 6, Megan moved to Oklahoma her father’s native sate. She learnt ballet the same year and performed at the Oklahoma City ballet. She graduated from the Casady School and went to the Northwestern University to study English Literature and Art History.
In 1985 Megan moved to L.A. and was signed by the William Morris Agency. Megan was soon spotted in one of the McDonalds commercials. In 1986, she made her television debut with The Ellen Brustyn Show. She co-starred in Seinfeld, Frasier, Wings, Ned and Stacey, Mad About You, Caroline in the City, and Just Shoot Me. In 2005, she won the Women in Film Lucy Award.
She has tried music too as a band member for the Supreme Music Program. In 1999 Megan admitted that she was a bisexual in one of her interviews with The Advocate.
