American actress, comedienne, and singer, Maya Khabira Rudolph has an estimated net worth of $10 million. A veteran of Los Angeles' famed Groundlings comedy troupe who found fame as a key cast member of Saturday Night Live.  She is the daughter of late R&B and soul singer Minnie Riperton and music producer Richard Rudolph. Her father is Ashkenazi Jewish and her mother was African-American. She lost her mother to breast cancer at the tender age of six. Her father raised both her and her older brother, Marc, as a single parent. Her paternal grandfather was Sidney Rudolph, a philanthropist who once owned all of the Wendy's and Rudy's restaurants in Dade County, Florida.

Growing up, Rudolph attended high school at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, where she became friendly with fellow alumna Gwyneth Paltrow, and continued her education at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she graduated in 1995 with a B.A. in photography from Porter College. She joined SNL in 2000, Rudolph successfully navigated the notoriously testosterone-laden hallways of Studio 8H to create a variety of original characters in addition to skewering such celebrities as Christina Aguilera, Oprah Winfrey, and Donatella Versace. She is one of the few SNL cast members who had the luck of establishing herself as a feature-film player before joining the cast of the weekly comedy staple. She was a regular performer on the show for seven seasons and occasionally returns to reprise particular sketches. She has also appeared in a number of other television and film projects, including “City of Angels”, “Chicago Hope”, “As Good as It Gets”, “A Prairie Home Companion”, “Grown Ups”, and “Bridesmaids”. In addition to her acting work, she is also an accomplished singer and has guest recorded tracks on various albums, as well as performing during her time on “Saturday Night Live’. She also co-starred in the new fall series, “Up All Night”.
