Ariana Grande Net Worth

When it comes to the world of music and entertainment, few names shine as brightly as Ariana Grande. Thanks to her mesmerizing stage presence, powerhouse vocals, and infectious pop anthems, she has garnered a devoted fanbase in the millions.

From her start on the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious to her now successful musical career and business ventures, the $240 million net worth she’s amassed over the years reflects her talent, hard work, and savvy business acumen. With hundreds of awards to her name and thousands of hours dedicated to honing her craft, the 30-year-old pop star earns an average salary of $20 million to $30 million each year.

In the year between 2019 and 2020 alone, she made a staggering $72 million, showcasing just how popular Ariana Grande has gotten over the years. That was thanks to her Sweetener World Tour, which grossed over $145 million, making her the highest-paid female musician on the Forbes 2020 Celebrity 100 list.

Ariana Grande Acting Career

Ariana Grande’s rise to stardom started at the age of 17 with her role as Cat Valentine on Victorious. While she hasn’t starred in that many movies since then, she still earned a reported $9,000 per episode, totaling up to $500,000 or more during the show’s entire run. This coupled with her charming personality served as a stepping stone for her music career later on.

Despite steering away from acting in favor of pursuing music, Ariana Grande still found herself landing small roles and cameos in several movies such as Zoolander 2 and Don’t Look Up. In more recent years, she’s managed to land a role in Wicked Part 1, the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, set to release in November 2024. How much she will receive for her part is not yet public information.

Ariana Grande Music Career

Ariana Grande’s first musical performance was back in 2008, at the early age of 15, in the 2008 Broadway musical, 13. This further kindled her passion for the industry, as 5 years later, she would go on to release her first album, Yours Truly, which debuted as number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with over 138,000 units sold in the first week. Despite her album's major success, Ariana Grande reportedly only received $50,000 for it.

She would later go on to release 5 other studio albums with the majority of them ranking number 1 on their debut. In addition to the millions she’s earned from her music, she also got paid a handsome check of $25 million for her appearance on The Voice’s 21st season. This made her the highest-paid coach in the show’s history, outearning her counterparts by approximately $10 million.

Ariana Grande Concerts and Tours

Selling over 100 million units across albums, singles, and features, it’s no surprise that Ariana Grande’s success would translate over to her live performances as well. With 4 concert tours to date, she’s broken numbers as she grossed over $250 million from just those performances alone. Attracting 3 million attendees throughout 277 shows, she has solidified her position as an A-list performer, showcasing her understanding of the entertainment industry’s financial dynamics.

Ariana Grande Business Ventures

Like many of her peers, Ariana Grande’s success extended beyond the entertainment industry as she would go on to venture into the business world with her own fragrance and beauty brand. Partnering up with LUXE Brands, her fragrances have generated over $1 billion in gross revenue so far, netting her a minimum of $50 million.

Despite the huge success of her beauty brand, REM Beauty, Forma Brands, the company Ariana Grande signed a licensing deal with filed for bankruptcy earlier this year in January. This resulted in negotiations between the pop star and the former, which ended in her reacquiring her brand’s physical assets and inventory back for $15 million. According to Forma Brand’s reports in 2022, the company reached $84 million in total revenue.

Ariana Grande Real Estate

Before shelling out more than $50 million on a diverse real estate portfolio, Ariana Grande moved around quite a bit, renting a few different luxurious houses such as the 10,000-square-foot L.A. property which sold for $6.5 million in 2015.

She would later go on to drop a whopping $16 million in 2018 on her 4,000-square-foot Chelsea apartment in Manhattan, which boasts five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a private spa, an IMAX theater, and much more. She later sold this property for an undisclosed amount alongside a Hollywood Hills home for $14 million in 2021, which she originally bought in 2020 for $13.7 million.

Her current primary residence is a 6,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home which she’s been renting for a few years now.

Ariana Grande Social Media and Music Streaming Earnings

In addition to the fortune she’s made from her music’s direct sales and concerts, she’s also made a killing off social media and music streaming services, mainly Spotify. From her YouTube channel alone, she’s gathered over 25 billion views, meaning at the payout rate YouTube offers, she’s made anywhere from $35 million to $150 million. Additionally, she now makes a reported $15.7 million annually from her Spotify streams.

Amassing close to 500 million followers across different social media platforms, with half of those on Instagram, it’s no wonder Ariana Grande is one of the highest-paid Instagram influencers out there, raking in almost $1 million per post.

Given her popularity among the youth, it’s no surprise she was also invited to participate in the Fortnite 2021 “Rift Tour” virtual concert hosted by Epic Games, which saw a 27 million online presence from people all around the world. She reportedly made over $20 million from that event alongside royalty fees for the sales of in-game items relating to her.
