T.J. Miller is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was born Todd James Miller on June 4, 1981 in Denver, Colorado. He attended Graland County Day School, East High School and George Washington University where he was a member of the comedy group GWU.

Miller did four years of comedy in Denver before he moved to Chicago. His television works included Chelsea Lately, Carpoolers and Gravity Falls. He did stand-up works in Conan and No Real Reason. He hosted a special called Mash Up which premiered to rave reviews and was picked up in 2012 for a full season by Comedy Central.

T.J. Miller made his film debut in Cloverfield. Other film projects include The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, Extract, She’s Out of My League, How to Train Your Dragon, Get Him to the Greek, Unstoppable, Gulliver’s Travels, Yogi Bear, Our Idiot Brother, and Rock of Ages. He is set to star in the upcoming movie Search Party along with Adam Pally. In May 2013, he was cast in the 2014 Michael Bay film Transformers: Age of Extinction.
