Jason Isaacs is an English actor best recognized for his appearance in the Harry Potter film series as the Death Eater Lucius Malfoy. He is also noted for his work in The Patriot  as William Tavington as well as on Brotherhood, an American TV series where he played the role of Michael Caffee. Since 2011, he has been appearing on Case Histories, a role that won him a Satellite Aware for Best Actor in a Miniseries or a Motion Picture Made for Television.

Among his most notable film projects include Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Nine Lives, Good, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 & 2 . He also made appearances in Abduction, Sweet Vengeance, A Single Shot, Dawn, Field of Lost Shoes, and Fury.
