American actor George Eads is famous for his role as Nick Stokes in the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He has a net worth of $3 million. He was born as George Coleman Eads III on March 1, 1967 in Fort Worth, TX and grew up in Belton. His father is Arthur Coleman “Cappy” Eads, a DA who retired in November 1, 2011. His mother is Vivian Athens Baker, Superintendent of Belton Schools and married to the gynecologist Dudley Baker. She had an older sister, Angela Eads Tekell, who is an attorney in Waco. He is married to Monika Casey on June 17, 2011.

Eads graduated from Belton High School in 1985. He also attended the Texas Tech University and graduated in 1989 with a degree in marketing. During his college days, he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, the same with the runner up of Survivor: The Australian Outback Colby Donaldson. Before his acting career, he used to work as a copy machine salesman. He was also selling first aid and safety supplies for Cintas.

In order to pursue his acting career, George went to Los Angeles in a pickup that he borrowed from his stepfather. He could only drive during the day in the area because two of the truck’s headlights are broken. He got his big break in the primetime soap opera Savannah. His character became popular that when it died in the pilot episode, the producers continued to have him in the flashbacks and brought him back as the identical twin.

George Eads has guest-starred in ER and has worked with several made-for television films like Crowned and Dangerous along with Yasmine Bleeth in 1997. It was in 2000 that portrayed the role of a Las Vegas forensic scientist Nick Stokes in the CBS series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He was fired from the hit TV crime show in July 2004 along with Jorja Fox after reportedly failing for work in what appeared to be a hold-out for more money. He immediately issued a public apology stating that he just overslept and it had nothing to do with money. Few days after, the network decided to rehire him. During his time in CSI, he has also worked in made-for television films such as Monte Walsh (2003) and Evel Knievel (2004). Eads was voted in 2009 as one of TV Guide’s Sexiest Male Actors in the TV Guide’s Sexiest Stars issue. The issue has voted Simon Baker of The Mentalist as the Sexiest Male Actor.
