Donny Osmond was born in Ogden, Utah on December 09, 1957. He is best known for his music and acting prowess -- but he has also been a producer, game show host, talk show host, and journalist.

He began his career at the age of five, appearing on the Andy Williams show with his siblings. At that time, they were known as "The Osmond Brothers". His strong Mormon upbringing provided fans with a clean cut image and wholesome entertainment.

Donny was the main performer of the group and was the lead vocalist on many of the group's tracks. He pursued a solo career in tandem with his group performances during the early '70s.

He and his sister Marie debuted their own variety show, which was a huge success for many seasons.
