About Diego Luna
Diego Luna is a Mexican actor which became known for his telenovela works.
Luna began his acting career when he appeared in the 1982 film Antonieta.
In 1992, he landed a role in the telenovela El Abuelo y Yo. He played the role of Quique in the Mexican soap opera El Premio Mayor in 1995. His biggest break as an actor when he joined critically acclaimed Y tu Mamá También in 2001.
He made his name in the United States, appeared in films such as Vampires: Los Muertos in 2002 and the Academy Award-winning Frida in 2002.
In 2011, Luna played the male lead in Katy Perry’s music video for “The One That Got Away.” He directed his first English-language film, Chávez in 2012. The film followed the life of American labor leader César Chávez, who founded the United Farm Workers.
