David Mitchell is a British writer, comedian and actor best recognized for his appearance on the sitcom Peep Show along with Robert Webb. In 2009, this won him the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance. Together, the duo has already written and starred in shows like That Mitchell and Webb Sound, The Mitchell and Webb Situation, as well as That Mitchell and Webb Look. In 2007, the duo's first film together titled Magician, was released.

David Mitchell has also appeared on shows like Would I Lie To You, The Bubble, Mock of the Week, QI, and Have I Got News for You. He also hosts 10 O'Clock Live and The Unbelievable Truth. He is also a regular contributor for The Guardian and The Observer.
