American actor Christopher Masterson was born Christopher Kennedy Masterson on January 22, 1980 in Long Island, NY. He is the son of Carol, a manager, and Peter, an insurance agent. Like his older brother, Danny Masterson of That’s ‘70s Show, he is a follower of Scientology. They both have invested in the restaurant business. Together with Danny and girlfriend Laura Prepon, they had invested in Card Player Magazine.
Christopher has played a small role in the film Beethoven’s 2nd (1993) while Danny had the leading role. In 2003, he was considered for the role of Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He played on Celebrity Poker Showdown: Tournament 2, Game4 (2004) to raise money for Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights, an anti-psychiatry advocacy group established in 1969 by the Church of Scientology.
In 2000, Masterson played Geoff in the direct-to-video movie Dragonheart: A New Beginning, a sequel to the award-winning movie Dragonheart that starred Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery. He is best known for playing the character of Francis in the award-winning sitcom Malcolm in the Middle for six years. He played Edward Linton in 2003 in MTV’s Wuthering Heights.
