American actor Burt Ward has an estimated net worth of $2.5 million. Born Bert John Gervis Jr. on July 6, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, USA, he was listed at the age of two, in Strange as It Seems magazine as the world’s youngest professional ice skater. His father was the owner of the travelling ice show called Rhapsody on Ice. He was a track and field athlete, wrestler and part of the chess team while in high school.

While growing up, Ward was into action-packed comic books and TV shows. At 19, he became the much-loved action hero, Robin, in the 1960s series Batman, where the lead role was played by Adam West. Unlike West, he did all of his stunts, as the small mask would make it impossible for a professional stuntman to pull off the stunts without breaking the illusion.

Ward enjoyed the success of Batman, but also pursued his other interest, music. He released a string of songs such as Boy Wonder, a version of Nat King Cole’s The Orange Colored Sky, and Teenage Bill of Rights.

After Batman, Burt had a bit of hard time finding other acting jobs. He appeared in more than 30 made-for-television movies, such as Virgin High. He also wrote his autobiography Boy Wonder: My Life in Tights. He founded a dog charity called Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions with his wife Tracy Posner.
