Alexis Denisof is an American actor who has appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, as well as in the films Much Ado About Nothing, and The Avengers.

Alexis Denisof started his career as the fight director for a stage production of Hamlet and for BBC's The Other Side, Romeo and Juliet and The Soul's Dark Night. His first lead role came in the feature film Murder Story, wherein he portrayed the role of an investigative reporter.

Denisof is best known for playing the character Wesley Wyndam-Pryce on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

He also appeared in numerous stage productions, such as Rope at Chichester Festival Theatre's Minerva Theatre. He was also among 200 actors considered for the role of James Bond in Casino Royale. In 2008, he appeared on Private Practice's second season. In August 2013, he was included in the cast of the third season of NBC's Grimm as recurring character Viktor Albert Wilhelm George Beckendorf.

Alexis Denisof was born on February 25, 1966 in Salisbury, Maryland, USA. He attended Highline College and St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire, then moved to London, where he lived and worked there for several years. He is married to Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Alyson Hannigan, and they have two daughters.
