Matt Hardy is an American professional wrestling with an estimated net worth of $1 million.

Matt Hardy and his brother, Jeff started their own federation, Trampoline Wrestling Federation which led them to create their own promotion, OMEGA Championship Wrestling later on. He submitted a tape to World Championship Wrestling under the ring name High Voltage and change it to Surge when they use High Voltage as name for of tag team.

He worked as a jobber for the World Wrestling Federation from 1994 until he signed a full-time contract in 1998. Hardy and his brother were trained under former wrestler Dory Funk Jr. and chose Michael Hayes as manager.

In 2000, the Hardys teamed up with female wrestler Lita and became known as the Team Xtreme. They won the WWE Hardcore Championship which defeated Crash Holly on Raw is War. When he became a single competitor for WWE, he won the ECW Championship, European Cruiseweight, and United State Championship.

He was released by WWE in October 2010. Hardy moved to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2011. He was reunited with his brother in a tag team match which defeated Rob Van Dam and Mr. Anderson.

In August of the same year, he was released from TNA and eventually, he announced his retirement on September 1, 2011. Hardy appeared in several independent circuits until he returned to Ring of Honor and TNA.
