Better known as “Edge,” Adam Joseph Copeland is a retired Canadian professional wrestler who has an estimated net worth of $14 million. Born on October 30, 1973 in Orangeville, Ontario, he became interested in wrestling at a very young age. Among his favorite wrestlers are Mr. Perfect, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. He trained under former professional wrestlers Sweet Daddy Siki and Ron Hutchinson.
In 1997, Edge signed a developmental deal with WWF where he began using his moniker. He then signed with WWE in 1998 and became famous in a tag team that accomplished the “Most Decorated Tag Team Championship in WWE History” after winning 12 Tag Team titles. With WWE, he is a seven-time World Heavyweight Champion, four-time WWE Champions, five-time WWF/WWE Intercontinental Champion, and one-time WCW United States Champion. He also earned the 14th Triple Crown Champion, 2001 King of the Ring Winner, two-time Money in the Bank winner in 2005 and 2007, the 2010 Royal Rumble Winner, and WWE Hall of Famer since 2012.
Aside from wrestling, Copeland also did some movie and television stints. He appeared in the 2000 fantasy film Highlander: Endgame. He had guest appearances on several TV shows such as The Weakest Link, Mind of Mencia, Deal or No Deal, and Haven, MADtv. He also made his movie debut as a lead actor in Bending the Rules by the WWE Studio.
