Chad Gable was originally named Charles "Chas" Betts. The American professional wrestler was born on March 8, 1986. As of the moment, he works under WWE NXT which is a developmental branch. He's a one-time NXT Tag Team Champion and the current WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion with a net worth of $1.8 million.

Amateur wrestling career

Betts was the winner of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, so he competed in the Olympics. In the qualification round, he was the winner against Keitani Graham from the Federated States of Micronesia. He went on to face Pablo Shorey of Cuba, but he lost at 3-0 and got eliminated from the competition. Chas became a Minnesota high school state champion. He graduated from Northern Michigan University afterward.

World Wrestling Entertainment (2013-present)

Last November 2013, Betts signed a contract with WWE, the professional wrestling promotion. He got assigned to Orlando, Florida's WWE Performance Center.

He became Chad Gable in his debut at the NXT house show in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Here, he defeated Troy McClain. Afterward, he lost to CJ Parker and Dash Wilder.

Gable and Jordan were able to defeat Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson together. Gable lost to Aiden English in their first singles action. Gable appeared to perform better in tag teams as he and Jordan defeated Manny Garcia and Elias Samson.
