Swiss professional tennis player and World No. 1 Roger Federer has an estimated net worth of $400 million in 2016. His 17 Grand Slam singles titles have made him the dominant male player of his time and one of the greatest of all times.
Roger Federer held the ATP No. 1 position for a record 237 consecutive weeks from 2 February 2004 to 18 August 2008. Arguably the greatest tennis player ever, the Federer era may be nearing its end. He has been passed by both Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in the rankings.
Federer still commands the most impressive endorsement portfolio in all of sports with 10 major deals including Nike, Credit Suisse, Rolex and Wilson. He was the only one of Gillette's original 3 "Champions" to have his deal renewed in 2011 as the brand dropped Tiger Woods and Thierry Henry. Collectively he earns more than $30 million annually from endorsements. He holds the records for most singles Grand Slam wins (17) and career prize money ($70 million). He appeared in a staggering 18 out of 19 Grand Slam finals between 2005 and 2010.
