At age 22, Jim Courier became the youngest professional tennis player to have won four grand slam singles titles. After winning the Orange Bowl in 1986 and 1987, as well as the 1987 French Open junior doubles title, Jim Courier officially became a professional in 1988. In 1991, he won the French Open Championships against Andre Agassi. A year later, he had his first championship at the Australian Open when he defeated Stefan Edberg. In a championship match against Petr Korda in 1992, Jim Courier won which earned him a  second championship title in the French Open competition.
