Mesut Ozil is a German football player which has an estimated net worth of $50 million.

Mesut Ozil started his passion in playing football when he joined various clubs in Gelsenkirchen. Then, he went to Rot-Weiss Essen for five years, and decided to move to the Schalke 04 youth squad as a midfielder.

With his moved from Schalke to Werder Bremen in 2008 which Ozil reportedly received a hefty €5 million. During his stint with the team, he played in 108 games, scored 16 goals and made 55 assists.

He transferred to the Real Madrid after his fantastic performance during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Ozil's stay with the team made him became popular among his teammates.  He made at least 105 appearances and scored 19 goals.

Mesut Ozil was born on October 15, 1988 in Gelsenkirchen, West Germany. He is dating singer Mandy Capristo, and signed an endorsement deal with Adidas in 2013.
