Fabio Borini is a professional Italian football player who currently plays for Sunderland in the Premier League as the team's striker. In 2012, he earned an annual salary of $3.1 million. He is currently on loan from Liverpool. Since 2008, Fabio Borini has been a part of the Italian national football team.

Fabio Borini was born on March 29, 1991 in Bentivoglio, Italy. At age nine, he began playing football, and was an avid supporter of Bologna, as was his father. In 2001, he joined Bologna as a youth player. After his stint with the Bologna, Borini joined Chelsea still as a youth player.

From 2009 through 2011, Borini played for Chelsea. He then played for Swansea City on loan. From 2011 through 2012, he played for Roma and Liverpool. He signed with A.S. Roma  for $1.7 million in August 2011. In July of the following year, it was reported that Liverpool and Roma agreed to a deal regarding Borini's transfer to the Liverpool. It was later confirmed that the deal include a transfer fee of $15 million and a signing bonus of about $14 million.
