Edinson Roberto Cavani Gómez was born on February 14, 1987, in Salto, Uruguay. His professional football career debuted with Danubio for Montevideo. After spending two years with the team, he moved to Palermo, where he spent the next four seasons. After signing to Napoli in 2010, Cavani was signed by PSG in July 2013.
