American professional football player Walter Thurmond has an estimated net worth of $6 million.

Walter Thurmond started playing football at West Covina High School. During his high school football stint, the team won the CIF Southern Section Division VII championship. As a wide receiver, he earned the All-CIF Southern Section, recorded 29 receptions for 730 yards, and seven touchdowns.

In college, he was redshirted for Oregon Ducks in 2006, and earned an honorable mention for all-Pac-10 team from 2006 and 2007. Thurmond suffered a torn ligament knee injury which prevented him from playing during the remainder of the 2009 season.

The Seattle Seahawks chose him as the fourth round, 111th overall pick during the 2010 NFL Draft. Thurmond was placed on injury reserve due to a broken fibula and high ankle sprain in November 2011. He has also played for the New York Giants in 2014 and Philadelphia Eagles in 2015.
