Tim Brown is a former American professional football player with an estimated net worth of $20 million.
Tim Brown began his career with Woodrow Wilson High School's football team. Although he was a member of the high school band, he hid playing football from his mother. He recorded 4-25-1 during the span of three years as a starter for the team.
In college, he played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 1984 to 1987. Brown was twice made it to the College Football All-America Team, and won the Heisman Trophy in 1987. He finished his career with 137 receptions for 2,493 yards, and 22 touchdowns.
Brown entered the 1988 NFL Draft, and chosen in the first round, 6th overall pick by the Los Angeles Raiders. He was voted nine-time to the Pro Bowl and named to the First-Team All-Pro twice.
After 12 years stint with the Raiders, he was released by the team and signed immediately to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004. The following year, he sealed a one-day contract with the Raiders to retire with the team.
Upon retirement, he was the National Chairman of Athletes and Entertainers for Kids in 1995. Brown was an analyst for ESPN College Football, and host of weekly sports-talk show on WRDI. He has been the general manager and co-owner of Indoor Football League's Texas Revolution.
