After attending the University of Virginia, Tiki Barber was selected by the New York Giants as its second round pick in the 1997 NFL Draft. Throughout his 10-year tenure with the NFL, he only played for the New York Giants.

Reports say that he is having difficulties in paying his divorce settlements with his former wife. Unfortunately, none of the NFL teams had the interest of taking him back.
Tiki Barber was previously married to Ginny Cha, his wife of eleven years. They had four children. It was in 2010 when news broke out that he left his wife for Traci Lynn Johnson, a 23-year old intern at NBC. Johnson was reported to be pregnant that time. He married Johnson in July 2012.
