Rob Blake joined the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's Bowling Green State University Green Falcons ice hockey team. During his three seasons stint with the team, he earned the CCHA and NCAA West First All-Star Team in 1990 and received the CCHA Best Offensive Defenceman.
