Nick Foles started his career while attending Westlake High School. He was a two-year starter for the school's football team where he amassed a total of 56 touchdowns and threw 5,658 yards.
He committed to play for the Arizona State University but played for the Michigan State, and eventually transferred to the University of Arizona. During Foles' first year with the Wildcats, he was redshirted for the team. He ranked first at the Pacific-12 Conference averaging per game of 352.58 yards.
