Palmer started playing football at the University of Florida before he was drafted by the New York Giants of the National Football League. In the early 2000s, he played as quarterback for the 4 seasons of NFL. After playing for the NFL, Palmer began playing for the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes. Currently, he works as a football analyst for TSN which is based in Canada and the College football analyst for the US ESPN/ABC.
