J.J. Watt was a four-year letterman and two-year starter when he started his career in Pewaukee High School's football team. He was named Woodland Conference Player of the Year and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Athlete of the Year.
During his football stint in college, Watt attended Central Michigan University in 2007 and immediately transferred to University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008. His first year with the Badgers, he was redshirted. And in 2010, he was a recipient of the Lott Trophy.
