Chris Clark started his career at Mc Donogh High School. He played during the 2002 New Orleans High School All-Star Game. In college, he was with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He earned an All-Conference USA honors during his junior and senior seasons with the team. Also, he was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team in 2004.
Though he was undrafted at NFL in 2008, he joined Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent. Clark spent his first two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. On September 4, 2010, he was waived off by the Denver Broncos from the Vikings during the final cuts prior to the 2010 NFL season.
