Chandler Jones is an American professional football player who currently plays for the National Football League's New England Patriots as its defensive end.

Chandler James Jones was born on February 27, 1990 in Rochester, New York. His eldest brother, Arthur, is also playing for National Football League's Baltimore Ravens, and his brother Jon is a mixed martial artist who fights in the UFC. After attending Union-Endicott High School, Jones studied at Syracuse University, where he played collegiately. He decided to forgo his senior year at the university to declare himself eligible for NFL drafting.

On April 26, 2012, he was selected by the New England Patriots as its 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In May 2013, he was signed by the Patriots to a four-year contract.
