American football player Champ Bailey, who plays in the National Football League (NFL), has an estimated net worth of $30 million. He was born Roland Bailey on June 22, 1978 in Folkston, Georgia. He attended Charlton County High School where he played high school football with the Indians. He went on to attend the University of Georgia through an athletic scholarship. He played for the Georgia Bulldogs between 1996 and 1998 where he earned All-American honors.
Bailey began his professional football career when he became the seventh overall pick by the Washington Redskins during the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He became one of the league’s best defensive backs while playing for the Redskins but got traded to the Denver Broncos after his contract ended with the team in 2003.
Champ Bailey signed a 7-year, $63 million contract with the Broncos and currently ranks first in the team in all-time career interceptions. In his career, he has appeared in eleven Pro Bowls and was selected twelve times, the most for any quarterback. He is also considered as one of the best pass defenders in the NFL history.
