Casey Hampton is a professional player who has spent twelve seasons playing for the National Football League's Pittsburgh Steelers as the team's nose tackle. Currently, Hampton is a free agent.

Also known as "Big Snack", Casey Hampton Jr. was born on September 3, 1977 in Galveston, Texas. A recognized All-American, Hampton attended University of Texas, where he played collegiately. From 1997 through 2000, he played in 37 consecutive games for the university's football team, the Texas Longhorns.

Casey Hampton was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as its first round (19th overall) pick in the 2001 NFL Draft, playing for the team until 2012. He was selected for a Pro Bowl five times (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009). He was also a two-time Super Bowl Champion, and a three-time AFC champion (2005, 2008, 2010). Big Snack was also named the Consensus All-American in 2000, as well as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in the same year.
