Ben Roethlisberger born on 2nd March 1982 is an American football quarterback with an estimated net worth of $70 million in 2015. His impressive wealth is accumulated over time by playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL).
Ben was born in Lima, Ohio to Todd Roethlisberger and Ida Jane. He attended the Findlay High School and was the captain of the football team. He graduated from the Miami University in Ohio.
His professional career began in the year 2004 when he signed the first contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers for six years. He started as a rookie and quickly made his way up the team’s ranks. He received many awards during his time with the Steelers. In the 2005 Super Bowl season, Ben helped the team win a glorious victory against the Cincinnati Bengals on 8th January 2008. They also won against Indianapolis Colts on 15th January, again led by Ben. In the 2006 Super Bowl season, Ben was heavily injured from a motorcycle crash and had to undergo an emergency operation. As a result, he missed the game, but was able to make a heroic comeback in the fifth week of the season.
He has a most impressive football career. Ben holds many records, and has received many awards in his career. He was a three time AFC champion and a two time Super Bowl and a Pro Bowl Champion.
Ben married Ashley Harlan on 23rd July 2011 – they have been blessed with a son named Benjamin Roethlisberger on 21st November 2012. Ben has also started a foundation to support the police and the fire departments, and has also donated a large sum of his money to the tsunami relief fund.
