Andre Rison is a former American football wide receiver and he has an estimated net worth of $50 thousand. He was born Andre Pevin Rison on March 18, 1967 in Flint, Michigan. After having been hailed as the star player at the Flint Northwestern High School, Andre Rison continued playing football at the Michigan State University.
Rison's NFL career started when he was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round (22nd overall) of the 1989 NFL Draft. He caught 52 passes for 820 yards with four touchdown receptions in his rookie season. He was traded by the Colts to the Atlanta Raiders along with Chris Hinton and a fifth round pick in the 1990 NFL Draft.
In 1994, Rison signed with the Cleveland Browns however, a feud between him and the fans of Cleveland developed. During the off-season, he moved to Jacksonville Jaguars instead of Baltimore. After a short stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Rison played for the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, then later on with the Oakland Raiders. In August 2004, he was signed by the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL (Canadian Football League) but was released in August 2005.
Outside of the football field, Andre Rison is also remembered of his life when was nicknamed "Bad Moon" Rison by ESPN sportscaster Chris Berman in relation to the song Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival. He was also nicknamed Spider-Man during his three-season stint with Kansas City. He gave the name himself because he is often seen fake shooting a web just like the character whenever he scores a touchdown. His nickname was also named as one of the best nicknames in sports history by Bleacher Report.
