Thaddeus Young is an American professional basketball player with an estimated net worth of $37 million.

Thaddeus Young played for Mitchell High School's varsity basketball team. He won the TSSAA Class AA Mr. Basketball in 2005, as well as the 2006 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year. He was named to the McDonald's High School All-American Team. As a senior, he averaged 26.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 4.3 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game. He joined Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball squad.

He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers as the first round, 12th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Young was part of the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He was traded to Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets.
